Second Life . Star Trek Roleplay
Rookery is a privately owned Federation home for crews that want to be part of something larger. The sim provides the world. The people who join it provide the life.
For years people have discussed coalitions and fleets. Very few ever put the land, the infrastructure, and the ongoing cost behind the idea. This sim is that commitment.
Rookery provides ships, stations, facilities, mission spaces, infrastructure, shared resources, and the environment in which our stories take place. Every captain, crew, group, and individual who becomes part of Rookery is expected to contribute to that community through roleplay, events, stories, creativity, participation, or service to the greater whole.
Rookery should be better because your group is here. Your group should be better because Rookery is here.
Bring your crew, your name, your history, your uniforms, your traditions. Nobody is asked to erase what they were before coming here.
Captains control their crew structure, recruiting, promotions, training, schedules, and stories. No permission slips required to play.
No quotas. No mandatory hours. Just a genuine relationship between your command and the community that gives it a home.
Rookery operates as one Federation roleplay community under a single framework, defined and protected by the Admirals' Table. There are not several competing Federation governments sharing the same sim.
Groups that want complete organizational independence are welcome to visit, join public events, and roleplay with us as guests. Groups that want a permanent ship, station, or facility are joining the community under that framework. That distinction matters, and it is the honest thing to say up front.
Come to the OOC welcome area, join the group, or drop into Discord. No entrance exam, no Academy requirement before you are allowed to have fun.
Bringing a whole command? Tell us who you are, what you want, and what you intend to bring. Then we talk before anything is assigned.
Tell us about your crew. Tell us what you want to do. More importantly, tell us what you want to build with everyone already here.
Welcome aboard.
